2014 Fun Korean Language Trip Applications Now Open!
Toronto, Canada. December 10th, 2013. – The “Fun Korean Language Trip”, a program jointly organized by the Korea Tourism Organization and Kyung Hee University Institute of International Education, has announced dates for the 2014 program and applications are currently being accepted.
The FKLT allows participants to study Korean language and culture at Kyung Hee University and stay in a KTO-certified homestay accommodation for a week. Students will be learning Korean through popular culture, K-pop and Korean dramas, and by experiencing the daily life in Korea. The classes incorporate fun and interactive teaching techniques such as role playing and group discussions.
The program is now in its third year 3rd year of applications. The very first year saw 11 students from 7 countries take part and has been growing steadily ever since. The 2013 FKLT allows students to choose from 8 different weeks over 2014 at a very affordable 600,000 excluding airfare. The program is open to those over 18 years of age to any non-native speaker of Korean.
