Seoul Walking Tour Mobile App Launch

Toronto, Canada.  May 10th, 2013. Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has launched a new Seoul Walking Tour Mobile App, a smart tour guide for sixteen famous tourist destinations located in downtown Seoul.

The app is the eleventh smart audio tour guide app to be released by KTO, following in the wake of those devised for the UNESCO World Heritage sites and the historical remains of the Silla and Baekje kingdoms.
Available in English, Japanese and Chinese versions, the App offers foreign visitors intriguing stories about the most frequently visited tourist attractions located in Cheonggyecheon, Jongno and Insa-dong in the central downtown area of Seoul.  Seoul Walking Tour Mobile app is also equipped with a GPS utility, so even visitors on their first trip to Korea can easily find their way around Seoul to all the major tourist attractions.

The Seoul Walking Tour Mobile App is available under the name ‘Seoul City Tour’ in your app store.

Another handy app for travelling throughout Korea is KTO’s Visit Korea 2.0 App.  This app contains extensive information on travelling in Korea including tourist attractions, accommodation, restaurants, shopping and much more. All listings have a map to assist travelers with navigation, and social networking services sharing functions.

Until the end of June this year, if you download the Visit Korea 2.0 App from the Visit Korea website you can also have the chance to win a FREE SIM card with a 2,000 won balance as well as free 10,000 won calling cards for ten winners each day.  You can also get a 10% free credit when charging through the EG SIM card App.  More details on how to get a SIM card for your smartphone before travelling to Korea are available at the following webpage:
