Recommended Korean Food for Indian palate
With regard to cuisine, South Korea is known to have a strong regional and traditional connect. Typically, bold in taste, Korean food is found to be centred around rice and soup accompanied by a meat or fish dish, with diverse sides available. Traditional Korean meals are distinguished for the number of side dishes (banchan) that accompany steam-cooked short-grain rice. Kimchi (Korean Pickle)
Kimchi is the quintessential side dish in Korea. The most popular variety of Kimchi is usually made by marinating Napa cabbage with salt; seasoning it with red pepper, garlic, green onion, julienned radishes; mixing it thoroughly and letting it ferment. Depending on the fermentation level, the taste of kimchi is different, such as sour or savoury.
