Design the VisitKorea 2.0 QR Code
Calling all designers, artists and creative people! Here's your chance to impress us with your talent and creativity by designing a QR Code for the Visit Korea 2.0 app.
Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is holding a QR Code Design Contest for its Visit Korea 2.0 app, a smartphone application that contains expanded travel content and information on Korea's tourist attractions, restaurants, accommodations, shops, and more. The QR code will be used for promoting the app and its various features. The selected designer will receive special prizes and will get worldwide exposure by having his/her design used as a promotional tool. Anyone with cool, clever, and creative design ideas can participate in the contest.

- Eligibility : Contest open to all Koreans and foreigners without restrictions
- Announcement of Winners : November 26th, 2012 / Winners will be announced on the official KTO website and event pages.
- Prizes : 6 winners, 1st : place (1 winner) Jewelry Case, 2nd : place (2 winners) Mother of pearl Case,3rd : place (3 winners) Coasters with folk painting
How to participate
- Download both QR codes below(one for iPhone, and one for Android). Mix and add unique designs of your own to the QR codes. Send your QR code design by e-mail to redhot@theunus.com . Make sure that the QR codes designed will work properly. QR codes that cannot be scanned and read will be disqualified. Participants must refrain from posting or publishing their submissions before completion of the event.
- You can also create a QR code design without using the QR codes below, as long as you make a code design for a direct access to the Visit Korea 2.0 download link.
