[Korea] Famous West Coast Attraction, Daecheon Beach Opens for Summer!

Daecheon Beach in Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do is open for the summer from June 15 to August 18. From July 19 – 28, the popular Boryeong Mud Festival will be held around the areas of Daecheon Beach with special night admission.

As a representative west coast attraction, the beach draws in thousands of visitors each year with its 3.5 kilometer-long white sand beach and 100 meter-long sunbathing zone. Opening dates for other popular beaches around the nation are June 1 for Songjeong Beach and Haeundae Beach; July 1 for Eurwangni Beach and Gwangalli Beach; and July 13 for Muchangpo Beach.
