Flowers are blossoming everywhere in Korea. Take advantage of the spring fragrance in the air by enjoying Korea’s noteworthy spring flower festivals such as Eungbongsan Mountain Forysthia Festival, International Horticulture Goyang Korea, and Samcheok Maengbang Canola Flower Festival.

Famous for the most beautiful of forsythias in Seoul, Eungbongsan Mountain is expected to attract visitors with its annual Eungbongsan Forsythia Festival from April 6 to April 8. Visitors can also take in the view of yellow forsythias while wall climbing at the nearby Wall Climbing Park.

As for the International Horticulture Goyang Korea, the festival will take place at Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang-si from April 27 to May 13 with the theme “New World of Flowers to Change the World.” Visited by over 5 million visitors just last year, International Horticulture Goyang Korea will kick off with extravagant fireworks and music performances on its opening ceremony and present an exquisite scene filled with beautiful flowers from 36 countries worldwide throughout the festival period.

Lastly, visitors can take in the view of beautiful canola flowers along with an ocean view at Samcheok Maengbang Canola Flower Festival from April 6 to April 30. The cherry blossom trees in full blossom near the festival venue will also be a welcome sight. Diverse hands-on activities using canola flowers, food experience booths, and a walking contest are prepared to entertain visitors.
