Daegwallyeong Snow Festival, a winter festival that represents Pyeongchang, is currently running until February 22. It is a popular festival that features beautiful ice sculptures and exciting snow sled hills.

This year features ice sculpture exhibition, snow sled, ice slide, a snow flower fairy tale parade, and fireworks. At night, the ice sculptures shine with LED lightings, making the sculptures even more magnificent.

Visitors can experience many activities while travelling in Gangwon-do with Daegwallyeong Snow Festival, PyeongChang 2018, and Pyeongchang Trout Festival all underway.       ① [Bus]: From Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, take an intercity bus to Heonggye Bus Terminal
(Dong Seoul Bus Terminal → Heonggye Bus Terminal): Bus schedule: 06:35-20:20 (Travel time approx. 2 hr 15 min)
(Heonggye Bus Terminal → Daegwallyeong Snow Festival): From Heonggye Bus Terminal, walk approx. 9 min in the direction of PyeongChang Olympic Plaza.

      ②[Train]: From Seoul Station, take KTX to Jinbu Station
(Seoul Station → Jinbu Station): KTX schedule: 06:00-23:30 (Travel time approx. 1 hr 30 min)
(Jinbu Station → Daegwallyeong Snow Festival): Exit to the right out of Jinbu Station, take Bus No. TS30 from Jinbu Transport Mall Bus Stop to PyeongChang Olympic Plaza Bus Stop (approx. 40 min).
