Starting August 1, 2014, a new route running between Seoul Station and Baekmagoji Station will be added to the DMZ-Train.

This new route gives tourists a chance to see more of the Yeoncheon-gun and Cheorwon-gun parts of the DMZ. Upon arriving at Baekmagoji, the train’s last stop, passengers can avail of the DMZ tour which takes them to DMZ attractions such as The House of Labor Party Ruins and Geumgangsan Mountain Electric Railroad Bridge. A city tour that goes to Goseokjeong National Tourist Area and Baengma Highground Battlefield is also available.

Seoul-Baekmagoji DMZ-Train tickets can be purchased starting July 16, 2014 from Korail’s website and from train stations.
