The Rose Garden Walking Festival at Seoul Grand Park started on May 24 and will continue until June 29, 2014.
293 different varieties of roses cover the expansive garden, accompanied by red poppies, corn flowers and more. Here, visitors can enjoy a pleasant walk among the fragrant flowers. There’s also a tower covered with roses, a picture-taking zone, a herb garden, and a fountain.
Various hands-on activities will be available on the weekends for visitors to make rose-scented soap, candles, lip balm and solid perfume.
During the festival period, the garden will be open until 9 p.m. from Sundays to Thursdays, and until 10 p.m. for Fridays to Saturdays. Admission is 2,000 won for adults, 1,500 students, and 1,000 won children.
