Live taekwondo demonstrations will be held daily (except Tuesdays) at Namsangol Hanok Village in Jung-gu, Seoul from May 3 to November 1, 2014. In addition to the demonstrations, a taekwondo experience program will also be available for foreigners.
The live demonstrations are a blend of martial arts, traditional Korean music and dance, and advanced board-smashing techniques. Meanwhile, the taekwondo experience program has three different types: basic, cardio, and a special program for advanced-level taekwondo practitioners. There will also be sessions for international visitors who want to experience this Korean martial art.
Admission to Namsangol Hanok Village is free of charge. However, the experience program requires pre-registration and participation fees will apply. More details about the programs can be found on the event’s website.
