[Korea] Call the 1330 Korea Travel Hotline for free via Skype


Ever hesitated calling the 1330 Korea Travel Hotline from abroad because of long distance call charges? In order to provide more assistance to those planning to visit Korea, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has made calling the hotline easier. Starting March 27, 2014, callers can now talk to a 1330 Korea Travel Hotline operator on Skype, anywhere in the world, for free.

To start calling, simply go to www.visitkorea.co.kr, click the 1330 Korea Travel Hotline icon, and click the Skype Free Call 1330 at the bottom of the page. After choosing your desired language (English, Japanese, Chinese), your call will be directed to an operator.

To use the service, you need to download and install Skype, and create an account if you don't already have one. To make and receive calls, you need either a headset, or a microphone and speakers.

2. Call to the 1330 Korea Travel Hotline on Skype by clicking the Skype button on the www.visitkorea.or.kr page.
