Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park, a place where visitors can learn about Gyeongju’s ancient history and cultural heritage, is open to the public free of charge as of March 5, 2014. Visitors can now stroll around the park premises, as well as the treasured Shilla Royal Forest (신라 왕경숲) without the payment of an admission fee.

This is the first time the park is offering free admission since it formally opened in 2008. The park has many cultural spaces including the World Fossil Museum, 3D Animation World, and the Silla Culture History Pavilion.

Other major attractions in Gyeongju include Cheomseongdae Observatory, Bulguksa Temple, Bomun Lake Resort, Silla Arts and Science Museum, Gyeongju Mediflower Oriental Hospital (Gyeongju Conmaul Hospital), Gyeongju Yangdong Village, Anapji Pond, and Shilla Millennium Park.
