There’s no need to make that hard decision of choosing between K-Pop and K-Drama anymore. Now, fans can enjoy both at the same time with WAPOP (a compound word of “World & Asia” and “WOW POP”) concerts (every Saturday, 7p.m.) at the WAPOP Hall located inside Children’s Grand Park.
The K-Pop stage features a weekly concert with a lineup of 5 different singers or groups that change each week. B-boy and gugak (traditional Korean music) performances are also the part of weekly fun, mixing contemporary Korean pop culture with traditional music.
K-Dramas featured in the concert include many iconic scenes from Boys Over Flowers, Stairway to Heaven, Moon Embracing the Sun, Winter Sonata and Iris. Subtitles are available in English, Chinese and Japanese for the benefit of international visitors.
Tickets to the concerts are offered as part of tour packages. Contact a travel agency in your country of residence to inquire about availability.
