[Korea] Seoul Grand Park is open again as of March 4

Seoul Zoo in Seoul Grand Park has resumed operations as of March 4, welcoming animal lovers back after closing temporarily in January.

The zoo closed for about a month starting January 30, 2014 as a preventive measure against avian influenza. The exhibition hall for birds is still closed at the moment, but the rest of the zoo is now accessible again to visitors.

On March 14, the zoo will hold a showcase on Korean native frogs, featuring 10 different breeds from tree frogs to Korean golden frogs. Also featuring Korean salamanders, the event will give visitors a chance to understand the life cycle of frogs: from a frog’s egg, to a swimming tadpole, to an adult frog.
Other themed gardens in Seoul Grand Park have also resumed regular operations. Admission to the park is 3,000 won for adults, 2,000 won for students and 1,000 won for children (between the ages of 6 and 12).
