Ganainsa Art Center will be holding a retrospective of Park Soo Keun, one of Korea’s most beloved modern artists, from January 17 to March 16, 2014 to mark the centennial of his birth.
The retrospective will feature about 120 works by Park Soo Keun including 90 oil paintings and 30 watercolor paintings and sketches. Park’s works are notable for depicting Korea’s modern history with a unique folk art appeal.
The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., but closing time is extended to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. Admission to the exhibition is 10,000 won for adults and 6,000 won for elementary school students.
