Hi Seoul Festival 2013, Seoul’s representative street arts festival, will be held in the district of Jung-gu, Seoul from October 2 to 6, 2013.

Marking its 11th year of celebrating culture and arts on the streets, the festival returns this autumn with the slogan “Let’s Play on the Streets”. During the five-day festival, 44 domestic performing groups and 9 international performing organizations (from six countries including France, Spain, and Argentina) will be presenting 53 various genres of street art including parades, street theatrical performances, a circus, acrobatics, and more. These 53 performances will be staged for a combined total of 160 times during the festival.

The highly anticipated opening program, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on the first day of the festival, will take place at the City Hall (Seoul Plaza). See for yourself how the streets of Seoul transform into an art scene during the Hi Seoul Festival.
