The Busan International Film Festival 2013 will be screening movies at seven theaters from October 3 to 12, with the main festival venue being at Busan Cinema Center.
BIFF has received a lot of attention over the past years and has grown fast to become the one of the largest international film festivals since its inception. Every year, the festival showcases a wide range of films in 11 categories. These films range from movies addressing global issues to those made by up-and-coming directors. Welcoming its 18th year, the festival will be screening 301 films from 70 countries during a 10-day duration this October.
Online reservation for the opening and closing ceremonies starts at 17:00 on Tuesday, September 24. Ticketing for the general films starts 9:00 on Thursday, September 26. As the tickets are in high demand, early reservation is recommended.
