[Korea] 2013 Chuseok Holiday Schedules at Major Sites & Shops

One of the most popular holidays in Korea is Chuseok (추석), the Korean equivalent of Thanksgiving in Western cultures. The Chuseok holiday season usually lasts for three days – the day before (Sept 18th), the day of (Sept 19th), and the day after (Sept 20th) – during which many tourist sites and shops close. Visitors and tourists should double check in advance whether the places they would like to go will be closed or not during the Chuseok holidays. Here’s a list of Chuseok holiday schedules and hours of some of the tourist sites and shops in Korea.
