[Korea] 10th Pohang International Fireworks Festival to kick off on July 26th

The Pohang International Fireworks Festival will take place from July 26th to August 4th at Yeongildae Beach(Bukbu Beach) and Hyeongsanggang Sports Park in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

The Pohang International Fireworks Festival attracts a growing number of visitors from home and abroad with diverse events and dazzling fireworks that have a special meaning*. This year, under the theme of “Midsummer Night’s Fireworks”, the festival has prepared plenty of things to see and enjoy for visitors. To commemorate its 10th anniversary, the festival will be featuring unique fireworks shows, videos, parades, and special fireworks from overseas fireworks teams. In addition, there will be a variety of hands-on programs involving lights.

The festival is open to the public free of charge.

*Special meaning – The fireworks consist of five different lights that represent the city of Pohang: History - the tale of the sun and the moon; Nature - the sunrise at Homigot; Industry - blast furnace; Cutting-edge technology - radiation beam; and Future – Yeongilmanhang Port.
