[Korea] 2013 Opening Dates of Korea’s Major Beaches

With summer in full swing and people getting eager to go to the beach, some of Korea’s major beaches have announced their opening dates for this year.

First to open early were Busan’s four major beaches (Haeundae, Gwangalli, Busan Songdo, Songjeong) and Mallipo Beach, in Taean Chungcheongnam-do. These beaches opened on June 1 and are currently providing local and international visitors various amenities and plenty of things to see and do.

Other beaches are gearing up for their opening dates this year. These beaches, along with nearby lodging, dining, entertainment, and recreational facilities are preparing to provide a clean and pleasant summer experience for beach-goers.
