[Korea] Gyeongbokgung Palace’s spring extended hours begin May 22

Gyeongbokgung Palace will celebrate the arrival of spring with extended evening hours at the complex located in Jongno-gu, Seoul-si, from May 22 to 26, 2013.

The extended hours at Gyeongbokgung Palace run from 18:30 to 22:00, and about 40% of the Gyeongbokgung Palace complex will be open to the public during the period, including Gwanghwamun Gate, Geunjeongjeon Hall, Sujeongjeon Hall and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion.

The palace’s extended hours take place every year during special periods in the spring and autumn. Many Korean and international tourists visit the palace during the extended hours to see and experience the old royal palace under a soft spotlight and the evening sky.
