[Korea] Traditional Music Concerts at Historic Seoul Landmarks

Photo Credit: Korean Traditioanl Performing Arts Foundation

A few historic landmarks in Seoul will hold traditional music concerts every weekend between May 4 and October 13.

Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine will participate in the event. In order to create the most traditional atmosphere at the palaces, a minimum amount of modern stage equipment, sets, and lighting will be used. Various types of traditional music including court music, folk music, and fusion gugak (Korean classical music) will be presented.

The concert will be free for all the palace or shrine visitors. Don’t miss this great opportunity to enjoy traditional music in a traditional setting.
