From March 14 to April 8, Seoul Metropolitan Government will be currently recruiting foreigners (residing domestically and internationally) to become a ‘Global Seoul-Mate’.

Global Seoul-Mate is a group of PR envoys who promote the capital by sharing their experiences and thoughts about Seoul on various social media channels. The program will select 150 foreigners to conduct promotional activities for Seoul on SNS channels in English, Chinese (traditional, simplified), and Japanese.

Foreigners both living in Korea and abroad are eligible for the program, regardless of whether they have been to Seoul or not. Application is available on the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s website (www.seoul.go.kr) in Korean, English, Japanese, or Chinese.

Participants will be producing and disseminating their own materials (photos, videos, articles, etc.) through various media to promote the city online on their own SNS account or Seoul’s overseas promotion channels.

The selected 2013 Global Seoul Mate applicants will be given an electronic letter of appointment and the right to use the Global Seoul-Mate symbols on their personal SNS channels. The most active Global Seoul Mates will be able to attend global marketing promotion events, receive special souvenirs and will be provided with a Seoul Tour.
