[Korea] Seoul Subway Distributes Travel Guide in Foreign languages

The Seoul Subway (lines 1-8) travel guide has been published in 4 languages (English, Japanese, Chinese-traditional, Chinese-simplified) and is being distributed starting January 25 at information centers in 44 subway stations frequently visited by foreign tourists such as Itaewon and Gwanghwamun Stations.

The guide is published in an effort to help foreign tourists traveling by subway and to provide them with helpful information about nearby tourist attractions. It is published in cooperation of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (SMRT), and Seoul Metro. The travel guide includes information such as how to buy a single journey ticket, how to use transportation card recharging machine, tour courses available by subway, and other essential information for going around the city.

Meanwhile, the Korea Tourism Organization is planning to have the travel guide available on its official website VisitKorea (visitkorea.or.kr) as well. The tour guide is expected to greatly help foreign tourists who travel around Seoul by subway.
