[Korea] Sledding & Skating at Seoul World Cup Park

The World Cup Park in Seoul has resumed operating its winter season facilities. The ice skating rink and the snow sledding hill will be open until February 17th and 24th of 2013, respectively.

The sledding hill has a 130m-long slope, which is the longest in the metropolitan area, and few other shorter slopes designed for families with children. The sledding hill area also features experience programs involving folk games, magic shows, and 4D movie viewing. Admission is 8,000 won per 4 hours, and includes sled rental.

The skating rink is located at Peace Square inside the Pyounghwa (Peace) Park. Its total area spans 1,800㎡, including the 450㎡ field designated for sledding. Admission is 1,000 won per hour, and skate rental is 1,000 won.

Tip.
A mini electronic train runs between Nanjicheon Park parking lot / Noeul Park parking lot and the sledding hill. The train fare is listed below. Furthermore, visitors to either the sledding hill or the skating rink will receive 30% discount on parking fees.
