[Korea] Traditional Craftworks Exhibition in Seoul

The 2012 Traditional Craftworks Future Exhibition, a collection of handcrafted everyday items, will take place from September 13th through 17th in the Special Exhibition Hall at Asia’s largest underground mall, COEX.

The exhibition, participated by 16 masters of 8 intangible cultural heritages including hand embroidery and mother-of-pearl handicraft, as well as 6 spatial designers and stylists, will showcase the traditional craftworks and their potential of future use. In total, there are 36 items of 14 different types, including a lamp shaped like a gat (men’s traditional headwear), a wooden craft with a motif of the edge of Buddha’s robe, and mother-of-pearl wall boxes.
