‘K-Shuttle’, a bus tour package exclusively for international visitors, began operating July 26, 2012.
The bus package will provide more diverse tour opportunities around the country for international visitors. It was launched by Seoul Metropolitan Office in partnership with six other government offices.
‘K-Shuttle’, which travels on two-night, three-day tours, has three routes: one course covers the southwest region of Korea, while two courses visit the southeast region. The buses depart Donghwa Duty Free in Seoul at 8:30.
K-Shuttle passengers can get off at any station on the route to tour around the area, as long as they return to the bus before it departs. For travelers seeking more flexibility in their itineraries, it is also possible to purchase bus tickets by the section instead of purchasing the full route.
The price of the package is 290,000 won, which includes shuttle bus ticket, two nights of accommodation at tourist hotels (including two breakfasts), and admission tickets to some tourist attraction sites.
The tours are led by professional tour guides with emergency paramedic licenses. They provide commentaries in foreign languages and assistance in potential emergency situations. Reservations are available at the K-Shuttle homepage (www.K-shuttle.com) or the tour package call center (+82-1899-2508).
