[Korea] Yeosu Expo Belugas’ Viewing Schedule Changes

The beluga whales, the most popular stars of the Yeosu Expo Aquarium, will be off-limits to visitors every other Monday starting from June 18th.

This policy allows the whales time to rest and receive medical checkups. The beluga whale is a white whale species under protection and active research as one of the world’s rarest animals.

The Aqua Forest in the aquarium reopened on June 18th. The exhibit had been temporarily closed to allow the fish species to recover from signs of stress.
