Big Bang will be attending the Tokyo Girls Collection, Japan′s representative fashion event,
On February 28, Big Bang will rise to the stage for the 20th Tokyo Girls Collection 2015 Spring/Summer at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo.
As a representative fashion event that shows the girls′ culture of Japan, Tokyo Girls Collection 2015 S/S will celebrate its 10th anniversary and 20th show. Big Bang′s attendance to this event proves once again the group′s popularity in Japan.
Regarding their appearance at the Tokyo Girls Collection, the Big Bang members stated, "Congratulations to Tokyo Girls Collection for 10 years. It′s very meaningful for us to be part of the 10th anniversary and 20th show. We′ll put on a passionate show on February 28 to leave a lasting memory for local fans."
From November 2014 to January 2015, Big Bang held its Japanese five dome tour, Big Bang Japan Dome Tour 2014~2015 "X" for the second consecutive time, a first for a foreign artist. Traveling to five different cities to peform 15 shows, Big Bang met with 740,000 fans, while continuing solo activities.
Daesung held the encore concert tour, Encore!! 3D Tour [D-LITE DLive D′s Love] for his previous solo arena tour, D-LITE DLive 2014 in Japan ~D′s Love~ at the Yoyogi National Stadium on January 31 and February 1. He′ll continue to Osaka Jo Hall on February 10 and 11.
Taeyang also released his solo album RISE [+ SOLAR & HOT] in 2014 and traveled to six cities to perform 13 shows with 70,000 fans in the audience for his solo tour concert, SOL JAPAN TOUR "RISE" 2014.
A DVD will also be released on February 18, containing footage from fan club events that took place in four different cities for 14 performances at the Yokohama Arena, Kobe World Memorial Hall, and more, while a special video collection of what went on during the five-dome tour will be released on March 25.
