Unfortunately for Got7, Jr. will be sitting out after getting swine flu.
On January 28, Newsen spoke with JYP Entertainment, who stated, “Jr. was diagnosed with swine flu. Until he gets all better, he will not be promoting.”
Jr. became sick two days earlier with high fever and body aches. On January 27, he went to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with swine flu, and went immediately into rest.
“Since we have to be watching for the improvement of his health, we plan on focusing more on his body’s condition,” said the staff member.
The other Got7 members do not show any symptoms and will continue with their schedules. Got7 will be promoting Girls Girls Girls until mid-February.
Meanwhile, Got7 is JYP Entertainment’s first hip-hop performance team that specializes in martial arts tricking. With Girls Girls Girls ranking well on music charts, Got7 is showing great potential as a rookie group.
