Once known primarily as a honeymoon destination, Korea’s premier resort island is now an appeal to the MICE market thanks to its world-class facilities and comprehensive meeting services. The island’s natural beauty, semi-tropical climate and unique traditional culture provide a warm welcome to visitors, who can choose from a diverse number of leisure options, including everything from scuba diving and paragliding to golfing and hiking. The island is also home to a number of picturesque beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves. Jeju was ranked as the 9th most popular meeting destination in Asia according to the UIA’s 2006 statistics for international meetings. |

The International Convention Center Jeju (ICC Jeju) opened up to the world in March of 2003. ICC Jeju is located at the beautiful Jungmun Resort on Korea’s lush Jeju Island. The ICC Jeju is not only an ideal venue for conventions and international meetings, but is also a great tourist site surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. The glass-walled, 4,300-seat main hall gives the effect of being outdoors. For more information, visit www.iccjeju.co.kr. |
