Yoojung Restaurant has been frequented by BTS even before the group's debut. The restaurant rose to popularity among fans after BTS mentioned it on air shortly after their debut. Now, the place is filled with traces left by BTS and gifts from their fans.

Once a restaurant well-known for its grilled ribs, Chosun Hwaro is now famous for being a popular dining place among celebrities, especially BIGBANG. For a special treat in Korea, try jokbal (pig's trotter) at SHINee member Taemin’s favorite jokbal restaurant, Myeongjangjok in Gangnam. Taemin’s love for jokbal is not a secret among fans as he has mentioned his love for this food in several media appearances.


You can feel the love of fans even from the restaurant’s entrance, decorated with fan arts and photos of Taemin. The interior is no different; the table where Taemin sat is labeled, and always occupied. You can also see fans who use screen capture print-outs of Taemin’s appearance in a show mentioning this restaurant, using it as guide to order whatever he had. Teamin’s recommendations are jokbal and makguksu (spicy buckwheat noodles), referred to as “Taemin set menu.”

Cheongdamgol is situated near a production agency and due to frequent visits from the agency's artists, the restaurant is jokingly referred to as an idol cafeteria. Several idols mentioned that this is where they visit when they crave a home-cooked meal. The meal comes served with a warm stew along with various side dishes, enough to leave one with a full stomach.
