Korean Folk Village is extremely popular these days as an exciting trip back in time, exploring the traditional lifestyle of Korea. Korean Folk Village is often used as a filming location for movies and dramas. Visitors can even change into traditional costumes to become the star of their favorite historical K-drama! The village has many fun and exciting events, such as traditional Korean seasonal experiences, making this village attractive to more than just history fans.

Healing - Juknokwon (Bamboo Garden)

Wind down from the stress of busy city life in the peace and tranquility of Juknokwon. Taking a walk through one of the eight bamboo courses will definitely heal your body and soul. The bamboo garden is a beautiful, elegant place, rich in anions and oxygen. After taking a stroll between the dense forests, finish up your relaxing day by stopping for a cup of jungnocha tea, made of green tea leaves grown among the bamboo.

Nature - Seoraksan National Park (OeSeorak; Outer Seorak)

Seoraksan Mountain is one of the most beautiful places to view fall foilage in Korea. People from all over the country flock to Seoraksan National Park in fall to take in the warm hues of red and gold covering the mountainside in autumn. The hiking trails at Seoraksan Mountain are not difficult, but visitors can also ride the Seorak Sogongwon Cable Car to indulge in the beautiful surroundings more easily.

Tradition - Jeonju Hanok Village

Jeonju is brimming with the best charms and cuisine in the nation. The gathering of traditional hanok houses and other historic buildings, such as Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Jeondong Catholic Cathedral and Jeonjuhyanggyo Confucian Schoolmake it not only easy but also enjoyable for visitors to immerse themselves in Korea’s history. However, more than history, Jeonju's biggest claim to fame is that it is considered the birthplace of bibimbap and kongnamul gukbap (bean sprout and rice soup). These two popular dishes are readily served in restaurants throughout the village.
