[Korea] 2020 Seollal Holiday Schedule for Regional Attractions & Shops

Korea’s major holiday, Seollal represents starting fresh and forgetting about the past year’s bad luck. This year’s Seollal is on January 25, and the Seollal holiday period is from January 24 to 27.

During the Seollal holidays, many regional attractions tend to close. Travelers visiting Korea during this period are recommended to check the holiday schedule in advance. Especially take note that many restaurants usually close on the day of Seollal (January 25). However, some attractions such as national parks, theme parks, and department stores will be open for business.
