The 23rd annual Jangdan Soybean Festival is confirmed to take place from November 22 to 24 within the areas of Imjingak Resort and Pyeong-hoa Nuri Park. The festival promotes the excellence and nutritional benefits of Paju’s local Jangdan soybeans through various events and sales booths.

This year’s festival focuses on the theme “Rich in Well-being! The World of Jangdan Soybeans!,” exhibiting and selling high-quality soybeans along with other local goods, as well as offering diverse activities and performances for visitors to enjoy. Main events include making a mini fermented soybean lump, threshing soybeans using a flail, and Jangdan Soybean Olympics. A free shuttle bus will operate from and to Munsan Station, providing a convenient transportation between the festival venue and the nearest metro station.

Please take note that some events have been canceled as a preventative measure against the African Swine Fever (ASF) from spreading further. Canceled events are the opening ceremony, celebratory events, stage performances, and the fireworks show.
