Good news for non-Korean citizenship holders visiting or planning to come to Seoul: you are eligible to sign up for an amazing cultural exchange opportunity and hallyu-themed programs, free of charge!

Initially launched as a pilot program in 2015, the ‘K-pop Experience Program’ was a complete success, receiving far more applicants than expected. This has led Seoul Metropolitan Government, the organizer of the program, to extend the event into this year’s calendar.

The lucky students selected will learn K-POP dance choreographies taught directly from amazing professionals within the entertainment industry, who also coach EXO, Girls' Generation and more SM family celebrities. The participants will start the program by touring the venue of SMTOWN STUDIO, located in COEX Artium, Gangnam-gu, then naturally get right down into the real business of learning all about K-pop! The classes are designed in a way that even beginners can easily follow suit, with the real-time language translations from coordinators on-site.

Please note that the program may see an early closure when fully booked. You can find more information from the official website.
