Followed by the successful launching of the Seoul Tourist Police last October, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has extended this service to Busan-si and Incheon-si as well starting in July of 2014.

The Tourist Police provide convenient services for international tourists visiting Korea. Aside from maintaining law and order and cracking down on overcharging merchants and taxi drivers, the officers will also be providing tourist assistance in English, Japanese, and Chinese.

The police patrol major tourist areas like Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach and Jagalchi Market in Busan and at Incheon International Airport and Incheon China Town in Incheon.
