Many people in Seoul visit Hangang River Parks to enjoy the cool breeze along the river, the shade of the park’s many trees and bridges, especially during the summer season, and its many cultural events. In particular, the Yeouido Hangang Park holds a variety of events and uses its Floating Stage for concerts, like the upcoming “Hangang Mulbit Festival.”

The festival will take place every day (except Mondays) from August 2 to 17, 2014 at the Floating Stage, where it will host a series of concerts and movie screenings in the evening.

The musical guests will span multiple genres including classical, popera, jazz, fusion gukak (traditional Korean music), rock, and much more. Each program will last for about 2 hours starting at 7:30 p.m. A free movie screening will take place every Friday following the concert.

So, come by and enjoy a picnic by the river while you listen to great tunes and watch some awesome movies.
