The Jecheon International Film & Music Festival (JIMFF) strives to be both a celebration of films and music shared and enjoyed by people of all generations. This year, the festival will be taking place from August 14 to 19, 2014.

The festival’s two major venues are Cheongpung Land and Uirimji Reservoir. Various movies and a number of musical performances will be staged outdoors on the shores of Cheongpung Lake, a lake that has captivated tourists with a natural beauty reminiscent of traditional Korean landscape paintings.

88 films from 32 different countries will be screened, including the drama ‘Blue Sky Bones’ (China), the documentary ‘Muscle Shoals’ (America), and the opening film ‘Golden Chariot in the Sky’ (Korea). There will also be music performances from about 30 different musicians.

Festival tickets are available online and onsite. Tickets that have already sold out online may still be available onsite. Online ticket reservation is not yet available in English. Instead, foreigners can download the booking form from the festival’s site and submit the form through email to make a reservation.
