[Korea] Pohang International Fireworks Festival starts July 31

The Pohang International Fireworks Festival will be held at Yeongildae Beach in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do from July 31 until August 3, 2014.

The festival will kick off with an opening ceremony accompanied by colorful fireworks illuminating the night sky. The festival also features a fireworks competition in which countries such as Britain, Australia, and Poland will be participating, a parade of lights, and street performances. Visitors can walk through the light tunnel and take part in hands-on activities such as the robot experience or making bracelets and illuminated kites.

Admission to the festival is free of charge; however, some fees may apply to participation in hands-on activities.
