The musical concert series “Changgyeonggung Morning” will take place this year every Saturday morning in August at Munjeongjeon Hall located in Changgyeonggung Palace, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

The calming melodies will be played in the palace each Saturday morning, starting at 7:30 a.m. Major concerts to look forward to include a Daegeum (Korea traditional flute) solo performance, royal court dance, royal court music and a Pungnyu (soothing music loved by many scholars during the Joseon era) concert. In addition to the performances, visitors can enjoy an early morning walk around the grounds of Changgyeonggung Palace to cap off a peaceful morning.

The performance is free of charge, however, making an advanced reservation is recommended as the concert seats are limited to the first 500 visitors.
