The Boryeong Mud Festival, one of the largest summer festivals in Korea, will start this year on July 18 and will take place for 10 days at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do.
The Mud Festival has drawn a lot of attention over the years from local and international tourists and with it, the number of visitors to festival increased each year! Visitors can enjoy mud-related hands-on activities such as the mud super slide, giant mud pool, colored-mud body painting, mud massage and much more along the Daecheon Beach front. Various side events and programs like a tomato fight akin to La Tomatina, parades and other street performances will also take place to offer visitors a wide variety of entertainment options.
Admission to this mud fest is 10,000 won for adults and 8,000 won for students.
