K-Beauty Gallery, located inside Osong KTX Station, opened its doors on April 3, 2014, attracting tourists visiting or making transit in Chungcheongbuk-do. The exhibition hall features the latest Korean beauty products and cosmetics that are of premium quality and showcases everything from traditional styling and make-up techniques to the latest trends in the beauty industry.
Occupying a 108-square-meter area, K-Beauty Gallery serves as a venue for the exhibition of promotional and advertising materials used by the Cosmetics & Beauty Expo Osong Korea held in 2013. It also sells various cosmetics and beauty products at the store located inside called “Beauty is You.”
There are roughly 280 cosmetic products available for purchase from 12 different beauty brands displayed at the venue, all of which participated in the 2013 Cosmetics & Beauty Expo Osong Korea. Product lines include basic skin products, color cosmetics, scalp care products, facial mask sheets, and many more. The best part is that you can get the products at a bargain, 30~50% cheaper than the normal market price.
Visiting the Exhibition Hall will also add to the audiences’ common knowledge of Korea’s, as well as Western countries’ history of beauty. The exhibition also includes classic hair-dos, traditional make-up, a comparison of the East and the West’s make-up evolution, and the science and technology behind today’s beauty magic. Additionally, outfits and make-up from the late Goryeo (918~1392) and early Joseon (1392~1910) are also showcased at K-Beauty Gallery.
