Bitnoriya in Yeosu 2014 will continue to light up Yeosu’s Geobukseon Park with bright and colorful illumination displays until May 11, 2014. As the total number of visitors since day one reached
more than 300,000, the city of Yeosu has decided to extend the festival
duration. Originally scheduled to end on March 4, the festival’s end date has
now been moved to May 11.
During the festival, there will be a light-adorned geobukseon (turtle ship) floating on the lake. The venue will also have various tree sculptures, a light tunnel of wishes, photo zones and more. On both sides of the 100 meter light tunnel, there will be card boxes where visitors can drop their wish cards in. Themed photo zones with colorful light decorations offer visitors a great opportunity to take memorable photos.
Admission to the festival is free of charge and the displays light up after sunset. Visit the official website for more details.
