The Geoje Island Flower Festival will take place from November 2 to 10, 2013 at areas around the Agriculture Development Institute in Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.
The festival, now in its 8th year, has been drawing a large number of fans despite its relatively short history. Visitors will be able to see various kinds of autumn flowers such as chrysanthemums and cosmos. The approximately 100 sculptures made of chrysanthemum flowers are impressive and visually stunning. Aside from the flower displays, there will also be an insect ecology hall and areas for succulent plants and wildflowers. Hands-on activities include chrysanthemum planting, flower crafts, and flower carriage rides.
Admission to the festival is 3,000 won for adults and 2,000 won for teens and kids.
