The Jeonju Bibimbap Festival 2013 will take place from October 24 to 27 at Jeonju Hanok Village (designated as an International Slow City) located in Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do.
The festival centers on the widely popular Jeonju Bibimbap, a representative dish of Korean cuisine. This year’s festival features a wide variety of programs such as a Jeonju local food exhibit and food sampling, traditional Korean food exhibit, Jeonju Bibimbap contest, making a giant version of a bibimbap (about 200 servings), a parade, and other festivities.
Travel to the culturally abundant city of Jeonju this autumn for a glimpse of the city’s rich tradition and for a taste of their famous bibimbap. Admission to the festival is free.
