This autumn’s exhibit, titled “Paintings from Royal Painters of the Jingyeong Era*”, will display about 80 paintings created by 21 royal painters who led the cultural golden age of the late Joseon Dynasty. These paintings are notable for their realistic representation of those times.

Gansong Art Museum is closed all year and opens to the public only for biannual two-week exhibitions that take place in May and October. Admission is free of charge.

*Jingyeong Era refers to the 125-year cultural golden age from 1675 to 1800 in Korea’s cultural history.
