The new trail on Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak [UNESCO World Heritage] in Jeju-do is now open. Since its opening, the trail has been receiving positive feedback from locals and tourists alike.

Originally an old route used by ancestors from many years ago, the new trail opened to the public in mid-September of this year. The trail is now the designated route down the mountain and is expected to relieve congestion on the main trail. Moreover, the trail also offers a great view of the surroundings from a new vantage point.

Hiking is especially pleasant this time of the year. Take advantage of this new trail if you decide to visit Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak.
