Selected as one of Korea’s outstanding cultural tourism festivals for 2013, the 7080 Chungjang Recollection Festival 2013 will take place in the Dong-gu area in Gwangju-si from October 9 to 13, 2013.

The festival celebrates its 10th year of epitomizing the spirit of the 70s and 80s with various exhibits, hands-on programs, and performances. The Dong-gu area offers a huge festival venue where locals and tourists can freely enjoy the music, food and other cultural and recreational activities from the 1970s and 1980s. The festival’s highlights include the large-scale parade with about 8,000 participants and the daily street performances.

This nostalgic festival is a unique opportunity to go back in time and experience the culture of those times. Admission to the festival is free of charge.
