[Korea] Major Events for 2013 Hangeul Day

After 23 years of exclusion, October 9th or Hangeul Day returns as an official public holiday this year. In celebration of this meaningful holiday, various events such as exhibits, performances, and hands-on programs will be taking place around Seoul including Gwanghwamun Square, King Sejong The Great Memorial Hall and the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History. Furthermore, Korean language departments at major universities will also hold diverse events on Hangeul Day.

Application Form

Korean language departments of Gangwon University, Gyeongsang University, Jeonnam Univeristy and Jeju University will hold Korean speaking and/or writing contests for foreigners sometime around Hangeul Day.
